Lanes Blocked and Three People Injured in a Multi-Vehicle Crash on Money Creek CampgroundSKYKOMISH, WA (August 16, 2023) – Saturday afternoon, a multi-vehicle collision on Highway 2 left three injured, police said.It occurred shortly after 4:00 p.m., August 5th, just east of Money Creek Campground at milepost 47, State Patrol Trooper Kelsey Harding said.Furthermore, the Washington State Patrol deputies stated that multiple vehicles were involved but the total numbers were not yet released.Also, the collision ended up injuring three people including one person with life-threatening injuries. They were all flown to Harborview Medical Center.Consequently, the deputies blocked all lanes of the highway between Grotto and Skykomish for approximately three hours. SAN JOSE — A San Jose police officer was shot Wednesday morning while responding to a reported family disturbance at a residence, authorities confirmed.After receiving the report of the disturbance at 7:57 a.m., officers contacted residents at the door of the home near the area of Auzerais Avenue and Race Street, police said. SAN JOSE, Calif. (KRON) -- A police officer has been shot by a suspect while responding to a family disturbance near Auzerais Avenue in San Jose, the San Jose Police Department has confirmed. The officer has been transported to the hospital. Officers arrived at a residence in the area of Auzerais and Race Street. Upon arriving at the scene, officers contacted residents at the door and immediately began taking gunfire, police said. (BCN) -- Sonoma County supervisors voted Tuesday to provide $1.4 million in loans to construct 159 new housing units in Santa Rosa, Windsor and Guerneville to expand the supply of affordable housing. The housing will be earmarked for extremely-low, very-low and low-income households except for three units designated for on-site managers, the county said in a press release.
