DENVER (KDVR) — Natural disasters have worsened in the last 20 years, including Colorado wildfires. Thankfully, insurance data says at least the state doesn't have to worry about coastal water problems in addition to the blazes. Denver Broncos player arrested in Florida Insurance broker Quotewizard's analysts crunched the data on the number of major natural disasters in each state since 1982 - those which caused more than $1 billion worth of damage. These kinds of events, especially storms, have increased in frequency over the last two decades. While Colorado has had its share of devastating fires, hailstorms and tornadoes, its absence of coastal storm systems and widespread flooding risks means it has an average amount of major natural disasters. Colorado has had 64 natural disasters creating more than $1 billion worth of damage between 1982 and 2022. Nationally, other states have had an average of 59 apiece in that time. ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) — Disney CEO Bob Iger on Monday said any retaliatory actions by Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis and the Republican-controlled Florida Legislature against the company that threaten jobs or expansion at its Florida resort is not only “anti-business but anti-Florida.”Answering a question during an online shareholders’ meeting, Iger said that the Republican governor and lawmakers appeared to be retaliating against the company for exercising its constitutional rights when Disney last year criticized Florida’s nicknamed “Don’t Say Gay” legislation. The measure bars instruction on sexual orientation and gender identity in kindergarten through third grade, as well as lessons deemed not age-appropriate.In response, Florida lawmakers passed, and DeSantis signed, legislation revamping the government-like board that oversees Walt Disney World’s 27,000-acre (10,926-hectare) property outside Orlando. MILWAUKEE — Sunday afternoon in Miami, with Kodai Senga on the ropes in the first inning against the Marlins, the Mets phoned the bullpen and told right-hander Stephen Nogosek to get up and to get on the rubber with a ball, but to hold off on warming up.This is something Showalter does often with his relievers. It serves two purposes: It prevents the pitcher from throwing superfluous pitches and putting unnecessary strain on the arm, as well as it serves to get relievers mentally engaged.“It lets me know it’s time to rock and roll,” Nogosek said.Nogosek later came into the game and pitched two innings. Senga ran up his pitch count in the first inning and wasn’t able to go as deep into the game as he or the Mets would have liked, but Nogosek absorbed a few. With four games left before an off day, Nogosek’s outing proved big for the Mets. Tommy Hunter’s two innings in Friday night’s game were helpful as well.“Nogosek had one of the...Heat’s Bam Adebayo, who ‘could barely walk,’ hopes to play in Tuesday’s key game at Detroit

He said he was “not 100 percent” but said he wants “to give the team what I’ve got.”“I’m one of the people that tries to fight through it,” said Adebayo, who is listed as questionable. “The fact that I could barely walk was obviously a problem. The biggest thing was just getting healthy, getting my body right.”Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said his star center ha...Dolphins sign tight end Durham Smythe to contract extension
